Haikus, maybe

I’ve always really enjoyed haikus, and I don’t really know why.  Maybe it’s because they’re structured easily, with rhyme or not. Challenging in the sense that you really have to pick your words to fit just right.  I probably do them wrong anyways, but here’s a few to enjoy.

At your behest, miss
What once was hidden is not
Haikus, just for you

Sitting and thinking
Far away, then close to home
What was I saying?

Verily amused
Time spent at home is special
Abroad, but useful

Sweet summer sun-light
Inescapable routine
Again to be gone

Give, but never take
How instead to live a life
I’ve not known such peace

Moonlight upon her
His pulse hastens in time,too
Timing is perfect
